Membership of the HNEHealth library service entitles you to borrow from all library branches located throughout Hunter New England Health and entitles you to access all services of the libraries.

Eligibility for membership
Membership is available to the following groups and individuals: • Employees of Hunter New England Health; • Staff and students of the University of Newcastle’s Faculty of Health, within the disciplines of medicine, radiography, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics, speech pathology and physiotherapy; • Students on placements with Hunter New England Health as part of their clinical experience; • Medical and health professionals who are not Hunter Health employees may also access the library, however borrowing privileges are conditional upon joining the library as a fee paying private member.
The library is not open to the public, therefore, members of the general public are not eligible for membership. Individuals seeking information are advised to contact their local public libraries for further assistance or speak to their health practitioner. | |
| Private membership
Medical and health professionals who are not Hunter New England Health employees may wish to consider joining the library as private fee paying members. The membership fee provides these individuals with borrowing privileges at any of the libraries. The private membership fee is $110.00 AUD (incl. GST) per annum.
